Manchester United have completed the signing of Feyenoord left-back Tyrell Malacia, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed.

The deal was initially stalled after Malacia switched agents but the left-back has now agreed personal terms with the Red Devils after getting a new agent.

Malacia is now set to arrive at Manchester for his medicals ahead of Man Utd announcing the signing.

French club Lyon had earlier agreed a deal with Feyenoord for the transfer of Malacia before Manchester United hijacked the deal.

Manchester United will pay Feyenoord €15million plus €2million in add-ons for the transfer of Malacia.

Feyenoord director Frank Arnesen confirmed earlier this week that the Red Devils have reached an agreement with the Dutch club for the transfer of Malacia.

Arnesen told 1908.nl: “The agreement with Man United is there. We are now waiting for Tyrell. If Malacia says yes, then a transfer to Manchester Utd is imminent.”

Malacia will compete with Luke Shaw for a place at left-back in the starting XI while Alex Telles will be allowed to leave Man Utd.

With Malacia now set to join Man Utd, the Red Devils are hoping to conclude the transfer of Frenkie de Jong by next week.

The Red Devils have already reached an agreement with Barcelona for the transfer of the Dutch midfielder.
