Report: Thomas Tuchel has promised Chelsea player that he’s going to play him this season, he won’t leave now
Thomas Tuchel has reportedly reassured Chelsea youngster Armando Broja that he will get first-team minutes this season at Stamford Bridge.
According to Football.London, Blues manager Tuchel has promised the 20-year-old that he’s going to get a fair opportunity to break into the senior team this year.

The report adds that the centre-forward won’t be leaving as things stand.
Broja, who’s from the Chelsea academy, has forced his way into Tuchel’s plans after an eye-catching season-long loan at Southampton last year.
The striker did get a 15-minute cameo on the weekend in Chelsea’s opening day 1-0 win over Everton in the Premier League.

Tuchel has reassured Broja
Hopefully, Broja is convinced and motivated by Tuchel’s vision for him during this campaign.
It must have been a boost for the young attacker to get minutes during Saturday’s trip to Merseyside, making just his second first-team appearance in Chelsea colours.
There’s definitely room in the forward area of the pitch for Broja to compete for a starting position, especially as Timo Werner is reportedly on the brink of rejoining RB Leipzig.
Tuchel got to check on several young players during pre-season that excelled out on loan last year, but it looks like Broja and Conor Gallaher are the two who will be making the step up.

Be ready to take chance
It’s understandable if Broja’s not a regular starter in the opening weeks of the season, but he needs to be ready to pounce when minutes are thrown his way.
His energy off the bench against Everton is certainly something that got supporters excited. Let’s hope Tuchel made note of his effort, too.
The striker showed during a pre-season game he’s got the kind of movement to create chances, so it’s just about being clinical around the penalty box.
Not many will predict Broja is the next striker that can fix the No.9 problem at Stamford Bridge, but there’s so much potential around him that he’s getting the chance to throw down a marker this season.
