Eamon Dunphy has slammed the American family’s ownership of the Manchester club
Dunphy says he can see United follow Liverpool’s drought of 30 years without a league title, until the won the Premier League in 2020.
He also slammed the basic neglect of the Old Trafford as he slammed the facilities at the ground.
Dunphy slated the lack of investment from the owners in his Irish Daily Star column.
He said: “There’s a crucial difference between spending and investing.

“The Glazers haven’t invested one penny in the future of the club. Old Trafford is let fall into decay — even something as basic as WiFi is a disaster there.
“The training facilities enjoyed by the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal are way ahead of those at United.
“The Glazers took control by leveraging debt and all they’ve ever been interested in is milking what they see as a cash cow.
“That has created a total mess that will likely get a whole lot worse.
“Any United fan who used to sneer at Liverpool’s 30-year wait for a title could be in for a rude awakening.
“It wouldn’t surprise me at all if United spend even longer in the wilderness.”
United legend Gary Neville also slammed the American owners as he said the Glazers’ need to invest £1BILLION to rebuild Old Trafford.
The outburst came after United’s humiliating 4-0 defeat to Brentford, Neville went on slam the Glazer family, who own the club.
Neville hammered the Glazers for how they were operating the club.
He told Sky Sports they would need to be a £1b investment in order to rebuild the club’s stadium, and training facilities.
He said: “The embedded failure over a 10-year period and where the club currently are has to come back to the ownership.
“I blamed Ed Woodward for a long time but the reality is the Glazer family left him in situ, when he shouldn’t have been left in situ in charge of the football side.
“They’ve still not dealt with the football operation; they’ve still not dealt with the player and recruitment department; they’ve still not dealt with the stadium which is rusting and needs massive money spent on it.
“Manchester United need a billion pounds in this next two-three years to either rebuild or renovate that stadium.
“They probably need another £500-£600m on a training ground and other infrastructure projects and football investment.
“They’ve only got £40-£50m cash left in the bank, they were cash rich three years ago when they had £350m in the bank but they’ve no longer got that.
“Something is going to have to give.”
