Chelsea can reportedly sign ‘incredible’ winger for £50m, they should be buying him rather than Gordon
Chelsea should decide to prioritise signing Wolverhampton Wanderers star Pedro Neto over alternative target Anthony Gordon from Everton.
Neto and Gordon, who are young Premier League wingers, are both linked with potential transfers to Stamford Bridge.
Wolves attacker Neto, 22, is reportedly a player that Chelsea have in their sights as a potential target.
TalkSPORT now claims the Portugal international could be available to prize away from Molineux Stadium for a £50million figure.
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s links to 21-year-old forward Gordon are stronger in the transfer rumour mill than those to Neto.
It’s been claimed the Blues may be prepared to fork out as much as £60million to sign the English speedster from rivals Everton in this summer window.

Chelsea should sign Neto over Gordon
If you look at the two attacker targets, Chelsea should definitely be focusing on Neto rather than Gordon.
For £60million, Everton’s rising star Gordon is just too big a risk for a relative unknown. He’s shown glimpses at Goodison Park where he’s run Premier League defences ragged, but there’s so much more for him to develop when it comes to end product.
In contrast, Neto is an individual that does look a little further along his with his progression . He should stand a better chance of breaking into the Chelsea line-up, too.
The left-footed Wolves winger is still trying to get back to his sharpest after a long-term knee injury, but there’s been a lot more proof that he’s a future superstar.
Described as “incredible” by Pep Guardiola, Neto is a superb dribbler with great close control and an ability to bamboozle defenders.
Adored by Wolves supporters, he’s someone with 19 direct goal contributions in 76 Premier League games.

The fact that Neto is actually quoted at a cheaper price than Gordon does seem strange.
There’s definitely some crazy prices thrown around when it comes to signing players this summer, especially English ones...TAP.TO.READ MORE.
If you had to bank on Neto or Gordon to reach future stardom, it’s the Wolves man who looks more likely at this moment in time.
