‘Can always hear his voice’: Ruben Loftus-Cheek says £22m Chelsea teammate is incredibly vocal on the pitch

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has shared that Chelsea teammate Edouard Mendy is always incredibly vocal on the pitch.

He made a costly error on the ball in the recent Leeds defeat, so it was great to see him bounce back on Saturday.

“Ed is a fantastic leader on the pitch and you can always hear his voice behind you, which is great, and obviously his goalkeeping ability is fantastic. He’s a massive plus for the team.”
