Napoli president De Laurentiis opens door to Ronaldo move; encouraged by Man Utd terms
Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is ready to open the door to signing Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Portugal captain remains determined to leave United this week before the summer market shuts.
La Gazzetta dello Sport says talks with Napoli have progressed positively, with De Laurentiis welcoming the terms proposed by agent Jorge Mendes.
Mendes has secured an agreement with United which would see them release Ronaldo from the final year of his contract, plus covering a majority percentage of his wages.
