BREAKING: Report! Chelsea are involved in talks still to sign ‘untouchable’ £127m attacker
Chelsea are reportedly in talks at this late stage in the transfer window for AC Milan attacker Rafael Leao.
According to The Times, the Blues are holding discussions with Milan about a potential deal for the 23-year-old star.
The report explains Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel wants a new forward to join his squad before the summer window shuts tonight.
Milan director Paolo Maldini recently said Leao is “untouchable” right now at the San Siro, so there’s no intent on allowing him to leave Italy. His release clause is a mega €150million (£127million) release clause, too.

Chelsea talks for Rafael Leao
The Blues appear to be showing major ambition in this window to bring Leao to Stamford Bridge, albeit it would be a surprise if they pull off a last-minute transfer.
It was previously reported Chelsea were plotting to make a bid in excess of £100million for Milan’s forward.
Leao’s a super talent that helped guide Milan to a Serie A league title last season, but the kind of money linked to his name does seem a tad over the top.
The left-winger finished last season with 14 goals and 12 assists in 42 games across all competitions for his club.
He can operate in central positions with his great speed, trickery and directness. However, Chelsea desperately need a traditional centre-forward that can score goals over another wide man.
Incidentally, Chelsea are reportedly close to completing the signing of Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Sterling needs help
For certain, Chelsea’s attacking outputs this season can’t solely rely on Raheem Sterling.
New Blues signing Sterling, 27, has been excellent with three goals in five Chelsea appearances so far.CONTINUE.YOUR.READING
However, it feels like he desperately needs some extra help in the final third because others around him are massively struggling to find any kind of form.
