FULL LIST: 2022 Summer Premier League transfers
EPL 2022 Summer Transfers

It has been a remarkable summer transfer window with Premier League clubs splashing the cash to get the very best across the world.

During what can be described as a sizzling summer transfer window, the spending reached a record level of an estimated £1.9billion with Chelsea and Manchester United leading the way with big-money signings to overhaul their squads.

Erik ten Hag got his man on deadline day as Brazil winger Antony was reunited with his former boss from Ajax in an £85million move to Manchester United.

New Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly had a hands-on approach with the club’s transfer business and his biggest outlay captured defender Wesley Fofana from Leicester.

The centre-back, 21, moved to Stamford Bridge in a seven-year deal for an initial fee of £70m that could rise to £80m with add-ons.

Liverpool were quick off the mark during the window, adding Darwin Nunez from Benfica to their talented strike force in June.

The Uruguayan international arrived at Anfield for an initial £64m, which could increase to £85m if certain terms are met, making him Liverpool’s record signing.

Manchester City pulled off what looks like becoming one of the best value deals of the summer, prising Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund for just £51m.

The Norwegian hotshot has bagged nine goals in his first five Premier League games, including two hat-tricks.

Newly-promoted Nottingham Forest boasted the biggest haul of players, welcoming a staggering 21 new recruits to the City Ground.

The wheeling and dealing continued right up until the 11pm deadline on September 1 as sides scrambled to sign reinforcements.

It was past midnight when Chelsea finally announced all the paperwork had been approved for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to complete his move back to London from Barcelona for a fee in the region of £10m.

Here is the FULL LIST for all the ins and outs from the busy summer transfer window.
