Welcome along to football.london’s live Arsenal blog on Saturday.

The Gunners failed to secure the signing of Aston Villa star Douglas Luiz on Deadline Day and now head into a busy period of fixtures without Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny.

Arsenal face another major test on Sunday with a huge clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford on the horizon. Mikel Arteta’s side have won their opening five league fixtures, but face a rejuvenated United after Erik ten Hag now seems to have turned a corner with his team.

Arsenal were one of the busiest Premier League clubs this summer, spending in excess of £100million for the second year in a row. Summer signing Gabriel Jesus has had an instant impact for the north Londoners, whilst Oleksandr Zinchenko has missed the previous two fixtures after suffering a knee injury.

With that being said, football.london will have all of the latest transfer news, rumours and pre-match gossip as it happens from the Emirates Stadium.
