Erik ten Hag has chosen the 25 squad members who will represent Manchester United in the Europa League group stages in the 2022/23 campaign, via Manchester Evening News. The new signings, such as Casemiro and Antony, have been selected.

The goalkeeping situation will be interesting to see. David de Gea has started for United in the Premier League. However, new signing Martin Dubravka is also an option for the gaffer.

The solid defensive duo of Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane are set to play a part in getting the side through to the knockout stages. The Argentine and French national have formed a formidable partnership in the PL.

United started the season on the back foot with defeats to Brighton & Hove Albion and Brentford. However, since then, the change in the backline, with Varane replacing Harry Maguire, has seen United be more comfortable.

Bruno Fernandes and Christian Eriksen are evidently the obvious names on the list. The Denmark international has made a difference coming into the team, playing a bit deeper in the number eight position.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Maguire make the squad. The duo have been left on the bench in the last few fixtures. However, fans will expect the two to get more minutes against seemingly weaker oppositions in Europe.
