West Ham United get their UEFA Europa Conference League group stage underway on Thursday night against Romanian side FCSB.
After comfortably navigating the qualifying stage with victory over Danish side Viborg, the Hammers will be looking for a similar level of success in their upcoming games as they look to progress further in Europe than they did last season.
A UEFA Europa League semi-final defeat to eventual winners Eintracht Frankfurt has given manager David Moyes and his team the taste of European adventure and getting off to a good start on Thursday night will be key to keep that adventure going.
Moyes will address the media this afternoon (Wednesday) ahead of the game and is likely to discuss the latest injury news surrounding summer signing Gianluca Scamacca, who has missed the last two games due to injury, while he is also likely to be asked about Chelsea’s decision to part company with Thomas Tuchel, with the Hammers having lost 2-1 against the Blues at Stamford Bridge at the weekend.
football.london will have you covered with everything the Scot will say so stay tuned throughout the afternoon for all the breaking news from Moyes’ press conference.
