BREAKING: All parties ‘expecting agreement to be reached’ for Chelsea to announce new manager

Chelsea should soon be announcing their new manager after sacking Thomas Tuchel yesterday.

Wednesday was just another crazy day at Chelsea Football Club, carrying on from a summer of turmoil, changes, and transfer madness. The new owners have come in and they are making changes from the very top, the very bottom, and that seemingly has included the changing of the manager as well.

Tuchel was informed on Wednesday morning that he was no longer the Blues head coach and his position at the club would end immediately. Since then, Chelsea got to work on his replacement, Graham Potter from Brighton.

Potter should be announced by the club with 24 hours, according to Sky Sports this morning.

Reporter Rob Dorsett has tweeted the news saying that both sides expect an agreement to be reached very soon after positive talks were held yesterday. Chelsea have been aiming to get Potter in before their next game on Saturday.

Talks between #cfc and Graham Potter continue today with both sides expecting agreement to be reached within the next 24hrs. Potter had “positive talks” with Todd Boehly yesterday afternoon, but is now back in Brighton. Todays talks will focus on contractual and legal detail.
