BREAKING: Pundit issues ‘unbelievable’ Celtic claim after what he’s seen
Celtic look “unbelievable” this season and already have a “big” advantage in the title race.
That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Hoops’ start to the season.
In the Premiership, Celtic have won six from six, scoring 25 goals and only conceding one.
In their last league outing (3 September), Ange Postecoglou’s side dominated Rangers and sealed a 4-0 win at Parkhead.
They now sit five points clear at the top of the Premiership.
Kenny has been blown away by the Hoops’ start to the season.
“You can’t make any claims about the title right now but Celtic look unbelievable,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“You have to say, they are battering teams every week and they aren’t conceding goals in the league.
“Of course, they have beaten Rangers now as well, pretty convincingly. To be five points ahead at any stage in that league is a big deal.
“It’s early but Celtic look so much better than Rangers. They look unstoppable in the league, it’s just clicking for them.
“The manager has done a brilliant job, I said it all through last season and now he has had another pre-season to work with those players.
“The work is really paying off, it’s very impressive.”
