Guardiola did not stop praising the Norwegian as he compared his striker’s goal with Cryuff. While he was praising, he told: “As a person, the education, manager, mentor, everything. Johan Cruyff years ago scored in the Camp Nou an incredible goal against Atletico Madrid and it was quite, quite, quite similar to Erling Haaland.”

From Haaland’s side, he just taunted his former teammates and the club by saying: “They didn’t stop me – I scored.”
But he also praised BVB as he added: “But they played well. They were good…Dortmund were really good today. But the three points are what matters.”
He also became proud of his team’s playing style and his teammate for the last 20 minutes. He spoke: “In the end, we showed what we are. This is what we are and this is how we have to play. I’m proud of the last 20, 25 minutes. We scored two wonderful goals – mine was a bit better, honestly! It was a nice cross from Cancelo.”
Guardiola also explained the game-changing moment, as he spoke: “The moment we changed rhythm with Phil [Foden], Bernardo [Silva], and Julian [Alvarez], we changed our pace and scored two excellent goals.”
The best player on the pitch from Dortmund’s side, Bellingham also praised Haaland’s winner by saying: “Yeah I knew it would be him, to be honest. Not many people know how to stop him. We did a really good job until maybe 88 minutes tonight and then he did what he does, unfortunately for us.”
Haaland was enjoying his moment. A new social media video showed that Haaland came across a member of the Bundesliga club’s staff in the tunnel and, jokingly said with a smile on his face: “don’t beat me up”, while returning to the dressing room.
