Former Man United captain Antonio Valencia has made a stunning return to English football at the age of 40 after signing for non-league side Wythenshawe FC’s veterans team.
The Ecuadorian enjoyed a hugely successful spell in England, first joining Wigan Athletic in 2006 before sealing a £16 million switch to Manchester United three years later.

The versatile former winger and full-back also captained Manchester United during the 2018/19 season under José Mourinho before leaving the club shortly after that campaign.
