The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the candidate of the opposition All Progressives Congress, Misa Musa, as the winner of the Ganye State Constituency held on Saturday.
INEC’s Returning Officer for the by-election, Professor Tukur Ahmed, declared the results early Sunday morning.

The by-election was conducted to fill the vacancy in the state House of Assembly.
The vacancy was created in May last year when the member representing the constituency, Abdulmalik Musa, died.
