Video: Finally Bandits Hold Meet-and-Greet Meeting in Katsina

‎At a time when the country is grappling with mounting insecurity, a video has surfaced online showing bandits converging for a meet-and-greet gathering.

‎Checks by OSUN DEFENDER confirmed that the meeting took place in Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State. It was hosted by a notorious and wanted bandit kingpin, Ado Alero.

‎In the video, dozens of bandits were seen exchanging pleasantries while openly brandishing sophisticated weapons and ammunition.

‎OSUN DEFENDER reports that the Northwest region has continued to dominate the news due to frequent cases of attacks, killings, kidnappings, and destruction of property. These attacks have triggered mass displacement, as villagers flee to neighboring towns and, in some cases, relocate entirely out of the state.

‎The development has left many Nigerians questioning the role and effectiveness of security operatives, especially when bandits can boldly organize such meetings while armed.

‎It will be recalled that Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State recently lamented the worsening insecurity across the country. He also declared that banditry would be eliminated in Zamfara within two months if governors were granted direct control over security agencies.
