Nigeria has secured a deal with the world’s largest Chinese solar panel manufacturer for the establishment of its factory in Nigeria to boost local production of solar equipment.
The Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN), in a statement, revealed that it facilitates the landmark deal on behalf of the federal government with LONGi of China.
This comes during a follow-up visit of a federal government delegation to Chinese parties.
Under the partnership, the solar panel manufacturer agreed to set up a one thousand megawattcapacity solar panel production factory in Nigeria to meet the growing demand for renewable energy..For More.Read Full Original
