Members of the Abia State House of Assembly have embarked on a visit to the United Kingdom for a “High Level” legislative seminar.
The lawmakers, before heading overseas, had passed “implicit” vote of confidence in Governor Alex Otti’s administration.
According to them, the vote of confidence stemmed from the performance of the governor in different sectors of the state.
However, the UK trip has been condemned by some members of opposition parties in Abia State.
Among those opposed to the trip is Eric Ikwuagwu, the Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who described the seminar as “pure excursion, sightseeing and jamboree”..For More.Read Full Original
