“Willing Nigerians are being escorted across the Armenian border by officials of the Nigerian embassy in Iran for safe passage,” she posted, adding that officials remain at the border to receive evacuees. The evacuation comes 11 days into a conflict that has killed over 1,300 in Iran, including 168 Minab schoolgirls, with more than 12,000 injured.
Israeli attacks on Lebanon have killed 394, including 83 children, and displaced over half a million. Eight US soldiers have died, and 13 Israelis have been killed by Iranian fire. President Trump said the war will end “very soon,” but Iran’s Revolutionary Guards insisted Iranians will determine when it ends, not Americans.
