The National Development Party (NDP) has announced the death of Hilda Mwenda Mwalwanda following a road accident involving the party’s leader, Frank Tumpale Mwenifumbo...READ FULL; FROM THE SOURCE.
According to a statement signed by the party’s secretary, Andikuza Litete Makhumula, Mwalwanda—who served as one of the party’s media assistants—died while receiving treatment at Karonga District Hospital.
Two other individuals injured in the accident are still undergoing medical care.
Mr. Mwenifumbo, who was traveling with party supporters, is reported to be in stable condition.

The accident occurred on 7 September 2025 at Kasikizi in Karonga District as the group was returning from a political rally.
