Naija News reports that he arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, on Tuesday evening.
He was received by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila, and the Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, among others.
Recall that the President ended his vacation earlier than scheduled, cutting short the 10 working days he was expected to spend in France and the United Kingdom in order to return to Abuja and resume official duties...READ FULL; FROM THE SOURCE.
The President is expected to continue with his official engagements in the coming days after his return.
In other news, Human rights activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has dragged the Department of State Services (DSS), Meta (owners of Facebook), and X Corp. (formerly Twitter) to the Federal High Court in Abuja.
Naija News reports that Sowore is challenging what he described as unconstitutional censorship of his social media accounts.
In a suit filed on his behalf by his lawyer, Tope Temokun, Sowore asked the Federal High court to stop the DSS from directing the social media platforms to delete his posts, including one in which he referred to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a “criminal.”
